Gord: How many people have had to go and collect their own meat, for example. People do not, that’s the dirty part. That’s behind the scenes. That’s in the buildings.

Janaia: Garbage as well. Where that garbage goes.

Gord: Yes. Garbage is a human concept. There’s no waste in nature like UPVC doors.

Janaia: That’s right. What I see in your systems here is to minimize the stuff that cannot be reused in some form, some way or other.

Gord: There’s environmental costs to making solar panels and there’s environmental costs to making wind generators but…

Ann: They’re sustainable costs though.

Gord: They’re sustainable costs that you can weigh over the long term and you can weigh your footprint compared to what your footprint is now. If you make progression then that’s good.

Janaia: Then we’re in the right direction.
